HOURS

10 am to 6 pm weekends

A 4,000-square foot facility houses tropical butterflies and plants from all over the world. Climate is controlled, so it will be tropical – hot and humid. Visitors can get a info sheet that helps to identify the common butterflies in the house. A display of chrysalids is available to show the life cycle of the butterfly. Glass butterflies, owl butterflies, zebra longwings, swallowtails, blue morphos, and some beautiful moths are just a few of the insects you may see.

ACCESSIBILITY: wheelchair accessible. Paths are concrete.
