Pink Flowers for Your Garden

Pink is a common flower color and one of my favorites. I have a lot of flowers that bloom throughout the year that produce various shades of pale pink to fuchsia. These are just a few of my favorites. The photo gallery at the bottom has more photos of the various pink blooms.

Knockout Roses in Pink

These roses are a breeze to grow (compared to other roses). They come in shades of pink, yellow, and red. The pinks and yellows are by far my favorites. This shade of pink almost glows when you take a photo of it.

Peonies

Peonies are just beautiful flowers. They look great as cut flowers and are huge! They often need supports to keep the flowers from drooping on the plant, but I adore these flowers, so I don’t mind staking them. They come in shades of magenta, pale pink, and white.

Pentas

Although these are annuals, pentas are a favorite of butterflies and their blooms are just beautiful. I planted a number of these pink flowering pentas together last year and they put on quite a show. You can find pentas in red, white, and pink.

Hibiscus

I have to say, this Pink Swirl Hibiscus is quite a stunning plant. The bloom is about 10 inches in diameter and the color is outstanding. You can even find more traditional tropical hibiscus in shades of pink as well.

Echinacea

There are a lot of varieties of Echinaceas these days. These “pink double delight” echinacea flowers are a lovely shade of peach-pink. Just perfect to accent a blue or purple flower next to it.
